AAUP Foundation is a nonprofit corporation whose primary address and principal place of business are located at 555 New Jersey Ave NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC 20001. AAUP Foundation is exempt from federal income tax as an organization described under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is eligible to receive tax-deductible donations. Each donation is tax-deductible as and to the extent allowed under applicable law and represents a contribution to AAUP Foundation’s mission to support the charitable and educational purposes of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), including establishing and supporting principles of academic freedom and the quality of higher education in a free and democratic society. Donations specifically earmarked to a restricted fund of AAUP Foundation represent a contribution to that fund.
